Our Holycroft School Vision is both a reflection of what we already do and what we are building on. It is what we are all committed to in order to meet the evolving needs of the school on our journey from good to outstanding. This Vision incorporates the voices of children, parents, staff, governors and the wider community; our Holycroft family of which we are all very proud.
The Leadership of the school, including the governors, will ensure that every child ‘gets the best deal’ through rigorous, regular monitoring and evaluation of standards and provision. We expect all children to make significant progress over time thus closing any learning gaps.
We aim for all teachers and associate staff to be outstanding practitioners. Accurate assessments will continue to inform bespoke planning, enabling a differentiated and personalised curriculum which accelerates learning.
Our Holycroft family ethos ensures that pupils feel safe and secure at school – we are a ‘haven’. Pupils are able to swiftly access support for any barrier to their learning; educational, emotional or physical from our caring Holycroft team.
We will continue to develop and support parents in both their own and their child’s learning. The strong learning culture at Holycroft will continue to give children the tools to become self motivated learners and demonstrate outstanding learning behaviours.
We continue to develop our knowledge and understanding of the cultural and religious differences and similarities between us all. We see each other as equal individuals and work together in cooperation with trust and respect.
Professional support is part of the development of all staff. Our school has a role in the development of other professionals and organisations in the community and beyond.
Our vision is to provide a happy, caring, safe and stimulating environment. We will enable all children to have the freedom to make appropriate choices and to develop as rounded, confident and responsible individuals. Their childhood experiences at Holycroft will provide a foundation for them to be able to meet life’s challenges and prepare them to make their best contributions to future British and Global societies.
