Last term our trip to Saltaire was a soggy but successful day, we had a wonderful time exploring Salts Mill and Roberts Park.
We also wrote some clearly ordered instructions which we used to make delicious energy cookies.
This term we have started our exciting new topic, Space.
We turned into detectives when found powdery footprints and top secret clues in our classroom. We used the clues to solve the mystery and found out Bob, the man on the moon, had visited us!
Since then, we have been learning all about Space.
Please ask us all about it.
In Maths we have been practising our addition and subtraction skills. We have been applying these skills to tricky reasoning problems.
We are also practising our three times tables at the moment, please help us to practise if you can.
Homework will be sent home every Friday and will include spellings and times tables practice, a piece of Maths and a piece of English. Children receive two house points if this comes back on Monday and one if it comes back any other day.
If you have any questions about how your child is getting on at school, please speak to myself or Miss Tazim :)
