In Maths, Year Two have been busy investigating the value of number this term. We have been using lots of equipment to build numbers and compare their size. Using number lines, we have looked at number sequences and how to complete them.

In English we have been reading a book on the Great Fire of London. We have been practising our exclamation sentences when talking about the disaster. What a terrible fire it was!

Our topic this term is David Hockney and Saltaire and we are excited about our upcoming trip to Salts Mill.

Homework will be sent home every Friday and will include spellings and times tables practice, a piece of Maths and a piece of English. Children receive two house points if this comes back on Monday and one if it comes back any other day.

If you have any questions about how your child is getting on at school, please speak to myself or Miss Tazim :)
